Marketing & Project Manager
After managing projects within various industries in the past, I’ve found that my skills are especially suited for marketing. I love working with talented people and helping clients market themselves!
Shauna McCullough-Hightower is bbr marketing’s project manager and client coordinator, making sure everyone is communicating effectively. She is quite gifted in her ability to keep projects on track and on time, skills she honed over the years in a variety of jobs in a number of industries, including Insurance, International Relocation, Education and Emergency Medicine. In other words, she has a way of cracking the whip without you realizing it and clients and co-workers alike depend on her calm yet persistent management style.
Shauna was born in Decatur (that’s Illinois, not Georgia) and now lives in Marietta (that’s Georgia, not Illinois…which is a good thing because the Illinois Marietta has an annual Testicle Festival she would rather avoid). She and her husband have a son and daughter, as well as three cats. While living in Colorado, where she attended the Metropolitan State College of Denver, nearly every Christmas season Shauna and her family, minus the kitties, traveled to downtown Denver and handed out pre-packed food to the homeless. Fighting food insecurity in all its incarnations is a cause that’s very near and dear to her heart.
Reading and painting are Shauna’s other favorite pastimes. Her favorite author is A.R. Wise, who largely writes zombie fiction. She is also obsessed with B horror movies – the B-er, the better! – and her Whovian heart will forever belong to Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor of Doctor Who. She can fix pretty much anything, from carpentry to mechanics, with the right tools and a YouTube video.
3 things that make Shauna wonderfully (enviously) weird:
- When she was little, she wanted to grow up and be a body builder.
- She HATES glitter. It really and truly freaks her out.
- She was once in a B (maybe Z) scary movie and a beauty pageant…but not at the same time.
We don’t hire boring people, that’s for sure!
