Client News: Terry Parker, CPA Named Chair-Elect of The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – AUGUST 2013 – Terry Parker, CPA and partner at Clifton, Lipford, Hardison & Parker, LLC in Macon, begins his term as the 2013-2014 Chair-Elect of The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). A member of GSCPA since 1989, Terry has been involved with GSCPA at the local level for many years, serving on the board for the Middle Georgia Chapter, the Educational Foundation and numerous committees, in addition to the GSCPA Board of Directors.
A native of Statesboro, Terry received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in tax from the University of Georgia. He is licensed in both Georgia and Florida.
Throughout his career, Terry has worked in public accounting on the national and local firm level in Atlanta, Macon and Jacksonville. He specializes in taxation, which includes corporate, partnership, and individual taxation, along with taxes related to nonprofits, trusts, gifts, estates and retirement plans.
In addition to his service to GSCPA, Terry is also a trustee for the Georgia Federal Tax Conference and a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs.
