CHALLENGE

When two well-respected wealth advisory firms (LGC+D Wealth in Providence, RI and Eastern Advisors in Fall River, MA) merged to form Convergence Wealth Advisors they sought to create a website that told their story clearly and uniquely. “Too often websites for wealth advisory firms can be dry and unappealing,” says Jerry Dorfman, formerly of LGC+D Wealth and now principal at Convergence. “We wanted to provide useful information about how we work and the type of firm we are. This way visitors can quickly see our unique approach to helping increase wealth and prepare for life’s many transitions, including selling a business or planning for retirement.”

The management team at Convergence began putting out feelers for assistance in creating their new website. “Jerry had worked with bbr marketing when they had created the LGC+D website and had very positive things to say about them,” says Ed Siegal, formerly of Eastern Advisors and now principal at Convergence. “We let bbr marketing know we were looking for proposals and they threw their hat in the ring.” When the proposals were evaluated, bbr marketing was selected to design and manage the execution of Convergence’s new website and the real work began. “We had a couple of calls where we detailed our expectations and the image we wished to convey,” says Jerry. “From there the bbr team put together a sitemap and timeline and they got right to work.”

RESULT

Today, Convergence Wealth Advisors can boast of a website that is clean, clear and as one colleague put it: “A breath of fresh air when it comes to wealth advisory firm websites.” Ed thinks the end product looks amazing. “The feedback we’ve received has been positive,” he says. “People can find the information they’re looking for and they enjoy the creative look and feel, something not often associated with most sites in our industry.” Both he and Jerry enjoyed working with the bbr team. “Everyone was extremely responsive and very easy to work with, very accommodating,” states Jerry. “It was a pleasure from the start and the entire experience was great.”
