CHALLENGE

Stanton Law, LLC is a law firm based in Atlanta, GA with a specialty in employment law from the employers’ point of view. Opening a new firm, founder and principal Todd Stanton, wanted to make the best first impression possible. He knew that potential clients might be hesitant to trust a small or startup firm with their important legal matters, regardless of his extensive experience. He needed his marketing efforts to reflect the seriousness with which he treats this enterprise, as well as all client matters. Todd felt that creating a strong and professional website and brand were important to giving his firm the gravitas it needed. He was introduced to bbr marketing through a colleague that had also worked with the firm. After an initial meeting he felt they would be able to provide exactly what he needed, not only because of their focus on professional services marketing, but also because Bonnie was an entrepreneur herself and understood the challenges often faced by a startup.

SOLUTION

Since Todd was basically starting from a blank slate, the first thing Bonnie did was to sit down and discuss what he envisioned for his new law firm. “Bonnie listened to my vision, got to know the type of clients I wanted to reach and learned what I was about,” said Todd. “Her firm was responsive and timely and able to bring my ideas and suggestions to life. This is no small task as it is not always easy for me to articulate how I’d like my ideas to be presented.” bbr marketing created a series of logo and branding alternatives, each taking into account the message and target client that Todd envisioned. He was then able to choose the one that most closely matched what he had in mind and tweak it to make it exactly what he wanted.

RESULT

When Todd opened his doors for the first time, he did so with all the major branding and marketing components in place, including his logo, website, blog site, social media pages and newsletter announcement. “The entire launch has received great feedback, and the website design in particular,” said Todd. “It definitely conveys that I am taking this endeavor seriously and that I am willing to put in the required effort for my clients.” Todd plans to continue working with bbr marketing as his firm grows and has additional marketing needs. Specifically, he wants to learn how to incorporate tools like social media more proficiently and stay ahead of these trends for the success of his firm.
