September 2016 – The CPA Consultants’ Alliance, a working group of thought leaders who focus on driving change and enhancing value for the accounting profession and those who depend on it, is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Phillips to the organization.
As the CEO of Accountingfly, Jeff is fully immersed in his work on behalf of the profession, as he strives to enhance the methods and tools with which accounting firms and accounting professionals at all career stages can interact and develop productive relationships. He brings a deep understanding of the needs of accounting firms and the profession as a whole, in addition to an impressive history of successful recruiting strategies and technological innovation.
Before founding Accountingfly, Jeff’s professional work focused on recruiting, content strategy and business development at well-known organizations such as Monster.com, Snagajob, American Express and Scient.

We look forward to his involvement and anticipate seeing many meaningful contributions to our organization and its mission.”
“It’s a true honor for me to join the CPA Consultant’s Alliance. The relationship between employees and firms is clearly evolving in the accounting profession, and the CPACA is making a difference on this issue as well as others. I look forward to adding to the work they are doing to enhance value for the profession,” said Jeff.
The CPACA was formed in 2012 with the purpose of exploring leadership issues facing the public accounting profession and developing and sharing solutions that benefit practitioners. The group’s vision is to inspire positive change in the CPA profession by collaboratively establishing tools and content that will educate, motivate and increase the wisdom of current and future leaders.
The group has published a book focused on strategies to help accounting firms meet the challenges of identifying, nurturing and utilizing the talents of emerging leaders, entitled Bridging the Gap: Strengthening the Connection between Current and Emerging Leaders in the CPA Profession.
