Today is National Coloring Book Day. No joke, it really is. On August 2nd, people everywhere will be having coloring parties (yep, really) and celebrating their ability to color within the lines way better than elementary school children.
In recent years, coloring books have gained in popularity among adults as a means of reducing stress and as a creative outlet for those not necessarily endowed with artistic talent. We can’t all be as creative and talented as our graphic designer Maddy, but thanks to National Coloring Book Day, we can…well…still not be as talented, but hey, at least we get to color during lunch!
Didn’t bring a coloring book with you to work today? No problem, just do a Google search and you’ll discover plenty of sites offering free coloring sheets that you can print out at your desk. Now go raid the desk of the person with all the pretty, colorful gel pens and color away! Share your artwork on social media and tag us in your photos, we’d love to see what you’ve created.
